Is it my imagination or do people do an awful lot to make their pictures "POP" with unnatural sky gradiants and extreeeeeeeem saturation and contrast while neglecting to put the picture in the photomanipulation category.
I think it makes it impossible to compete on a photography category when you people only value eye candy levels. I've been in a dozen contests and the best I can get is 13 votes while usually a highly unnatural looking picture wins.
